Jacob Kaufman Guitar Lessons and Teaching Philosophy
My teaching style offers beginner, intermediate, and advanced instruction on playing acoustic or electric guitar. The student can expect a fourfold study of chords, scales, note reading, and songs. Further, guitar players will experience a variety of strumming and plucking patters for traditional, jazz, and contemporary songs. Jury and Performances will be expected by the student to develop on stage and pressure situations in relation to their guitar playing. Other expectations include being introduced to different styles of music through listening.
